Datta Khel Attack: Latest Cooperation Between Pakistani Taliban Factions

In a new video, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Hafiz Gul Bahadur group (HGB) feature combined attack against security forces

On May 23, 20204, a group of Pakistani Taliban carried out an attack targeting a security forces’ camp in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan tribal district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. The attack resulted in the destruction of the camp, and the militants claimed to have inflicted six casualties among security forces while they sustained one fatal casualty. In a first, the attack, which was carried out by the TTP together with HGB, was openly prasied by an official TTP video.
